Ho Anh Tho is a Consultant for Lee Hecht Harrison Vietnam. She plays an active role in Lee Hecht Harrison’s Career Transition practice, and facilitation of soft skills workshops.
Tho began her professional career with Vietnam Airlines in 1992. Due to her outstanding performance, she was quickly promoted from flight attendant to Cabin Chief, and subsequently moved to a trainer, to draw on her experience and knowledge. As part of a small team, she developed training manuals, facilitator guides and the Customer Service program for entry – supervisory level flight attendants.
After 5-years with Vietnam Airlines, Tho transitioned to Manulife Vietnam in a Training and Recruitment role. In this role, she once again developed the training function by building training manuals, facilitator guides and training standards for staff and supervisory level. In addition, Tho was in charge of Manulife Vietnam’s recruitment and selection processes for all of its offices throughout Vietnam, including the provision of training to Managers and Supervisors in hiring practices.
As a result of her extensive training experience, Tho was employed by Drake Beam Morin (DBM) in 2004. In coordination with Lead Consultants, Tho assisted with the design and delivery of training, coaching and consulting services, as well as leading client Sales efforts. She was also instrumental in the delivery of Outplacement services to Vietnam as part of DBM’s core services.
In 2007, Tho studied an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration – Human Resource Management (EMBA-HRM) in Thailand. Since completing her Masters, Tho has worked for Trung Nguyen in training quality assurance within their Training Centre. From 2011, Tho continued to work on a project basis to provide Training and Development consultancy to multinationals, NGO, foreign invested and Vietnamese companies.
Tho is a committed consultant with more than fifteen years experience in training and recruitment in both operational and consulting services environments. Her major strengths are in behavioral-based interview and selection; designing, organizing and delivering soft skills training; Train-the-Trainer programs; building recruitment processes and training policies; and Career Transition coaching.
